High Range Water-Reducing Concrete Admixture based on Melamine technology for promoting accelerated hardening and free flowing concrete. Sikament® FF has been developed in accordance to ASTM C 494-81 Type A & F.

USE
Sikament® FF is used for flowing concrete in:

  • Floor slabs
  • Foundations
  • Slender components with packed reinforcement
  • Walls and columns
  • Beams and ceilings
  • Precast concrete elements
  • Bridges and cantilever structures
  • Prestressed concrete
  • Area of concrete where formwork must be removed quickly or early loading applied

CHARACTERISTICS AND ADVANTAGES
As a superplasticizer:

  • Substantial improvement in workability without increased water or the risk of egregation. Normal set without retardation, even when over dosed.
  • Improved density and surface finish.
  • As a water reducer:
  • Up to 35% water reduction. 40% increase in 28 days strengths. High strengths after 8 hours. Increased frost-resistance. Increased water tightness

A Liquid Hardening Accelerator for Concrete and Mortar developed to promotes early strength development without negatively influencing final strengths. It meets the requirements for hardening accelerators according to EN 934-2.

USE
SikaRapid®-1 is especially suitable for any application where fast early strength development plays a major role, or is of crucial importance within 6 to 24 hours. It is used for the following works:

  • Precast concrete
  • Prestressed concrete
  • Ready mixed concrete where early demoulding is essential
  • Cold ambient temperatures to achieve sufficient strength gain
  • Slip-formed concrete
  • Ready mixed concrete where minimum time delays are critical,/li>

  • When applied with a superplasticizer, SikaRapid®-1 will not change the fresh concrete properties produced by the superplasticizer
