ORTRIO Limited is expanding into the textile chemicals market through a strategic partnership with leading international innovative textile chemical manufacturers. We are looking for a mid-level Marketing & Sales Representative to lead customer acquisition and growth across Bangladesh`s textile and garment processing sectors.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a technically proficient and results-driven sales professional with experience in textile auxiliaries, dyes, finishing agents, or pretreatment chemicals.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and acquire new customers across textile dyeing, finishing, and garment washing units in Bangladesh`s major industrial zones (Gazipur, Narayanganj, Savar, Chattogram).

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with mill owners, production managers, dyeing masters, and sustainability teams.

  • Maintain consistent field visits and on-site engagement.

  • Product Promotion & Trials: Drive awareness and adoption of product portfolio, including pretreatment agents, fixing agents, enzyme-based solutions and sustainable finishing chemicals.

  • Technical Support: Assist clients with product selection based on fabric type, machine configuration, and processing goals. Coordinate with company`s technical team for troubleshooting and performance trials.

  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets. Track sales leads, follow up, and close deals through effective negotiation and value-based selling.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Report on price movements, regulatory changes, and innovation opportunities in the textile chemical space.

  • Campaigns Visibility: Support trade fair participation, mill seminars, and sample campaigns to promote our products.

 

Requirements:

 Education

  • Bachelor`s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field. A business qualification is a plus.

 Experience

  • 3 to 5 years

 Additional Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years in B2B sales of textile auxiliaries, dyes, or finishing chemicals. Prior work with brands like Achromat, CHT, Rudolf, or similar is highly desirable.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with textile wet processing, including desiring, scouring, bleaching, dyeing, washing, softening, and finishing.

  • Client Base: Existing network within mills, dyeing units, or garment processing facilities is a strong advantage.

 Skills and Competencies

  • Sales Execution: Ability to drive cold calls, build pipelines, and convert leads to repeat customers.

  • Communication: Fluent in Bangla and English, with strong presentation skills for technical and communication conversations.

  • Negotiation: Skilled in balancing price, performance, and long-term value to close sales effectively.

  • Field Orientation: Willingness to spend significant time in industrial zones meeting clients face-to-face.

  • Solution Selling: Understand customer`s process needs and propose tailored chemical programs that improve quality or reduce costs.

 Preferred Industry Exposure

  • Candidates with past experience in or selling to:

  • Textile dyeing and finishing mills (woven/knit)

  • Denim garment wash facilities

  • Printing houses

  • Export-oriented garment manufacturers
