Chattogram-Cox's Bazar Rail Link : Bangladesh Rail Unveils New Terminal and 100+ km Track

The Chattogram-Cox's Bazar Rail Link is a recently completed 103.50 km single-line dual-gauge railway that successfully connected the popular tourist city of Cox's Bazar to Bangladesh's national railway network. This long-awaited project, which began construction in 2018, was officially inaugurated in November 2023, with commercial services starting shortly thereafter. A key feature of the line is the distinctive, oyster-shaped iconic railway station at Cox's Bazar.
