UPGRADE 70 KM DHAKA NORTHWEST CORRIDOR Reduced 40% Travel Time & 10 Hours waiting Time
South Asia Sub Regional Cooperation (SASEC)is one of the Biggest Road Connectivity Projects in South Asia. The upgrading pf the Dhaka Northwest Corridor (70 km of Joydebpur-Chandra-Tangail-Elenga Trade Corridor) is not only boosts the national economy but also facilitates subregional cooperation and increases trade of Burimari and Beanpole Border. After completing this project, 40% of travel time has been reduced on this road. On the other hand, the waiting time for vehicles crossing borders has also been reduced around 10 hours.
