SASEC-One of the Biggest Road Connectivity Projects in South Asia-Developing Transport Corridor to Trade Between Bangladesh and India, Nepal and Bhutan

The development of Bogra-Natore Road (62.8km) and Bhatiapara-Benapole Road (98.51 km), including Modhumati/Kalna bridge, would make a great impact to trade between Bangladesh and India, Nepal and Bhutan. Also The Bhatiapara-Benapole road link is a part of the proposed Asian Highway route AH-1.  By providing the tools required to regulate vehicle overloading, this enhancement program will help fulfill the increasing demand for road transport, fast up economic development, and improve sector management generally
